The purpose of this site is to provide a place for people to share local information, news, stories and events. You can add a link here to anything on the internet you create or find about our community. Here are some options:
Add Link to Local Content
Web Site
Link your web site and have it included in the local search.
Web Calendar
If you maintain a public web calendar of local events you can include a link to it on the calendar page sidebar.
News Link
If you see an article anywhere on the internet about our local community, you can share it by putting a link here.
Include RSS Feed of Local Content
RSS (also known as Real Simple Syndication) is a type of link that lets us automatically update the site with new information.
Most blogs offer rss feeds. Flickr, Picassa and YouTube all let you share your photos and videos using rss feeds. Twitter also offers a feed of your Twitter posts.
And Google Calendar offers a feed of the events you create on a public calendar - you can find the feed address in the settings.
You will usually find the link to an rss feed associated with this symbol

They may be called "atom", which is one kind of rss feed.
Blogs
By adding your blog’s rss feed to the blog roll, a link to each new post you make to your blog will automatically appear in the blog section of the community site.
